Behind Closed Doors. . .

Behind closed doors is the topic of discussion for today. It is the true habitat of the marriage; and it is also what God sees.

In today's segment, we look behind those closed doors. More often than not, people in general only allow you to see what they want you to see. The "other you" if you will. Nevertheless, the real you is what will determine the out come of your marriages. Let me explain.
You see, God has given us (the marriage) a road map or a guideline to prevent falter and ensure us that marriage God's way is the safest way to succeed. We all have a tendency to put on our best behavior in front of the crowd, but what really counts is what goes on "behind closed doors".

The marriage union as God has described in His Holy word says this: 1 Corinthians 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
1 Corinthians 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
1 Corinthians 13:3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. . . . .and in the same light, comes marriage.

Let's talk layman language. . . .unless we are following the guidelines for marriage that God has layed out in His word, our outward display doesn't even count! Did you hear that? It doesn't even matter.

Here's the point; now that we have embarked into a new year, let's put God's word through the test. Let's see if marriage the Bible way really makes a difference.
I can assure you, it does. Actually it's behind those closed doors that really count.
It's not necessary to "mudsling" to know if what's taking place in your marriage is working.

Look at it this way. . . .if your house caught on fire from within, eventually it will destroy that which is within and ultimately destroy what's on the outside anyway. . . get my drift?

So let us take the challenge that the Lord has set before us. . .and that is to take Him at His word and simply trust Him with your marriage! Allow the richnest of God's word iron out the rough places in your marriage, and submit to the life-changing liberty that you will experience just by following His wisdom. I do, why don't you!
HAPPY NEW YEAR and as always. . . . .remember . . .
YOU ARE BLESSED!
