Is it Love. . .or just will-power?

"TO THINE OWN SELF BE TRUE". . .I'm sure you've heard that saying before. Well, my friends, in today's segment, we explore "the reason for the season" if you will.

Often in our walk through life and in our marriages, we as humans are capable through desire and persistance, to acquire or accomplish things we have pursued. Is it a good thing? Of course it is; however, in marriage, it's only good if the element of Love is present.
Genesis 2:18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
You see, only during creation were things set in order. After that, God gives every individual free choice.(THE ABILITY TO DO WHAT YOU THINK IS RIGHT)

Interestingly enough, "will-power" is simply an individual doing what they will or can, ( NOTE:NO MOTIVE NEEDED.) On the other hand Love is a motivation that causes an action. Such a thin line between the two.
Sadly enough, many marriage exist on just will-power alone, but it's really not enough. Why? . . .because will-power can run out, given the right timing, the right place, and the right opportunity, everything can change.
There is no drastic change or variance in Love. Listen to the scriptures:
1 Corinthians 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

Let's be real about the matter; when your relationship is soley based on will-power, there is no reason to sustain it and when certain pressures arise, it is an easy escape to just quit! Listen closely to what we are saying here.
Your sucess and happiness are on the line here. Take a good look in the mirror and tell yourself what you see.
On the other hand, Love is the key. Yes, my dear friends, Love will out weigh any storm of life, or any rocky relationship. Love makes the real difference, and besides, it makes you ONE!Trust me on this one, will-power eventually runs out. . .then what? Think about that!
Love of course will stand the test. Now where does it come from. . .you guessed it. . . it comes from God.
"to thine own self be true" kind of make you the judge eh? Love or will-power. . .what do the scales say for your marriage?
This is your day to be free. . .take advantage of it and always remember. . . .
YOU ARE BLESSED!
