The Strong Man
In today's segment, we are talking about the "strong man". What or who is exactly "the strong man".
Mark 3:27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
As you can see, the key here is to bind the strong man.
Metaphorically speaking, the strong man could actually be your relationship, the head of the household, even the principals (the Word of God), etc.
What am I getting at: you see my dear readers, many times we allow outside influences to interrupt our peace, our standards, yes. . . .and our marriages.
If you notice however, the Holy scriptures let us know that this interruption can only happen if we are bound. Hmmm, interesting isn't it.
Ephesians 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
. . . or they two shall be "the strong man". . . get my drift?
How very important is to make sure that nothing disturbs that "strong man",. . . not mama, not daddy, not friends, not money, not hard times, good times, sickness, and so forth.
Here's the message: the chain is only as strong as it's weakest link, just as the "church" is only as strong as it's marriages, as it's marriages are only as strong as their relationship, and their relationship is only as strong as the principles it stands on. Of course I'm speaking of God's Holy word!
Wow!. . . see. . . .it's all relevant.
Question: is your marriage relationship free, or has the strong man been bound? Something to think about eh?
Let's grow on that thought and always remember,
You are Blessed.
